Karan Bhutani

Karan is a Counsel at ADP Law Offices, specialising in intellectual property litigation and enforcement, as well as criminal litigation. He advises and represents clients in complex, high-stakes disputes, with a focus on anti-counterfeiting actions, enforcement strategy, and matters involving corporate and technology-driven frauds.

With over 13-years of experience, Karan has led and executed more than 450 anti-counterfeiting and enforcement actions across India, acting for both Indian and international clients across a wide range of sectors. He is particularly experienced in devising and implementing enforcement strategies, including coordinating closely with law enforcement agencies, cyber cells, and regulatory authorities to ensure effective action against infringement and illegal activities.

Karan regularly appears before various High Courts and district courts across India. His practice is marked by a strong on-ground enforcement capability combined with strategic legal insight.

Before joining ADP Law Offices, Karan worked at a leading law firm, where he gained significant experience in dispute resolution. He has also served as a Legal Advisor with the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, and trained and practised in the chambers of Senior Advocate K.K. Manan.
