Over his 9-year career, Akshay has clerked with Supreme Court Justice Mr Justice J Chalmeshwar and associated with prominent Senior Counsel dealing with constitutional issues, complex and sensitive disputes before the Supreme Court, Standard Essential Patent Disputes, and pharma patent disputes. Akshay has also specialised in criminal litigation and has acted as part of a team of prosecutors conducting trials in various high-profile criminal prosecutions related to the coal block scam, the 1984 riots & massacres, which targeted the Sikh community and represented federal law enforcement agencies such as the Central Bureau of Investigation. Akshay is also an aspiring playwright, having authored several plays touching upon legal themes and having essayed acting roles in various theatrical productions.
